- There are no educational entry requirements for this qualification. However before a person can enter a construction worksite, they must hold the unit CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry (White Card).
- Applicants should have sufficient Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to read and understand plans and dimensions, and communicate with others in plain English.
This is a step to gaining employment in the construction industry and an avenue of gaining an apprenticeship in the construction industry.
This qualification provides a more comprehensive understanding to the construction industry.
You will gain an understanding of the construction industry including essential work health and safety requirements, the industrial and work organisation structure, communication skills, work planning, and basic use of tools and materials.
On successful completion of the course you will be awarded with:
- Qualification –CPC20120 Certificate II in Construction
This program is nationally recognised.
The Training will be delivered by an experienced and qualified trainer, face to face.
The training follows a specifically prepared course session plan and utilises materials such as participant guides, review questions, a workbook and practical tasks.
Assessments will be conducted using a theory and practical assessment tool.
The assessor will inform you of each of the assessments prior to them being conducted.
